Can I stay in Thailand for 60 days with just the arrival card or do I need to get a Visa?
Answer summary
Whether you need a visa to stay in Thailand for 60 days depends on your nationality and the passport you hold. Some nationalities can enter Thailand visa-exempt for a duration of 60 days, using the arrival card (TDAC). However, there are plans to change this duration to 30 days in the future. For those interested in retiring in Thailand, specific requirements for retirement visas exist, such as age and financial stability. It's advisable to check the Thai Embassy's website or find updated resources for the most current visa regulations.

It depends on your nationality whether you need a visa or can enter with visa exemption. With visa exemption you currently get 60 days, but it is planned to be reduced to 30 days.
PrettyPomegranate2269 You and 10,000 others, its not difficult once You meet the requirements for a proper retirement visa and annual extension of stay. Been living here for years and yes absolutely love it.
That will depend on the passport you hold and whether or not that entitles you to enter without a visa. If it does you will currently get stamped in for 60 days and can extend for a further 30 days inside Thailand. That is due to change to 30 plus 30 at some, as yet unknown, point in the future
