Me and my brother have recently spent a just under 2 months in thailand on a free visa and are currently travelling sea but we want to return for 3 weeks before we go home.
Would we be able to do this (more then happy to buy a visa) but we have seen so many stories online recently with people being rejected is there anything to worry about.
(Also we haven't over stayed or got in trouble if this helps)
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about the possibility of returning to Thailand for three weeks after traveling abroad on a free visa, expressing concerns about potential re-entry problems. Responses suggest that travelers without a negative visa history and who can provide proof of onward travel and financial means should have no issues returning. Specific advice includes ensuring a valid flight back home is booked and addressing prior visa-exempt travel.
What do you mean by no bad history, do you have history beyond your 2 month stay? Yopu don't need proof of funds if asked, you need 25k in Baht cash (or equivalent in any major currency)
the people having the issues are those who have been in and out of Thailand over the past year and spend around half that time or more in the country (or over the past 2 years have spent around a year or more entering and exiting). That is the type of history that the border immigration are looking at in particular.
you are fine. If you want to eliminate your concerns then keep cash on you when entering. 20.000 baht each they wont ask for it but then you definitely meet ALL the criterias. Enjoy the trip!
