I saw quite a few folks here requested to provide the most recent tax return as additional supporting documentation. Now it’s 2025 Jan and technically I should prepare 2024 tax return but haven’t been able to collect all info needed yet. In this case can we use 2023 tax return?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether it's acceptable to submit a 2023 tax return as supporting documentation instead of the unreleased 2024 tax return for visa purposes in Thailand. Several users reported that they successfully used their 2023 tax returns for similar situations, citing that the necessary IRS forms for the 2024 tax return were not yet available.
