Can I obtain a re-entry permit for my Ed visa at Don Mueang airport or at the Malaysian border?

You better have all the papers and copies in hand when you cross at Hat Yai. I was there, the Thai immigration lady said 'you can get re-entry permit, you need to make a photo copy,etc.' I asked How can I make a photocopy here?, she said to take a motorcycle taxi.
