Can I join a border run to Mae Sai and what are the requirements for crossing the border?
I have a truck and will be going to Mae Sai for a border run on July 27th (from Chiang Mai). Leaving in the morning and returning in early evening. I have 3 comfortable empty seats available if anyone wants to join. You can choose the music, temperature, and if we stop for coffee (oh please yes). Can use my unlimited hotspot too.

My Thai girlfriend says vehicle has to be in your name the bank can't own it to cross the border in Chiang rai is this true as I gotta do a run before Aug 7 and I have a METV

Walk across the bridge, check out the markets for 10 to 15 minutes (trying not to be pressured into buying anything or anybody's sister) and walk back across the bridge. :) :) :)

OPMaybe. I’m not crossing the border with my vehicle tho. I’m parking and walking across as is the norm.
