I’m filling out my DTV visa application and it asks for an arrival date. I haven’t booked my flights yet, so I’m wondering:
• If I put a certain arrival date on my application, can I still enter Thailand earlier or later than that?
• How much flexibility do I actually have as long as I arrive within the visa’s validity period?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) for Thailand, there is no strict requirement to arrive on the date specified in your application. Once your DTV visa is issued, you have a validity period of 5 years during which you can enter the country, allowing for significant flexibility in your travel plans.
No requirement to arrive any time. Once the visa is issued you have 5 years of validity to use it. You can wait 4.5 years to enter Thailand if you want.
