TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation centers around the possibility of applying for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) Soft Power visa specifically for golf training. Several commenters express skepticism about the feasibility, noting that the DTV visa is likely geared towards promoting traditional Thai cultural activities, such as Muay Thai or pure Thai massage, rather than golf training. There are no reported cases of successful applications for the DTV visa under sports training programs unrelated to Muay Thai.

Not seen any. The Soft Power is meant to promote Thai activities. Golf does not really fall into that does it. Pure Thai massage and language courses do not qualify either

Why do you want the Destination Thailand Visa and not the Non Immigrant ED (education) visa ?
