Hi, I would be happy if somebody could answer my questions. I am a 49 year old German woman. and I came on a multible non immigrant o visa. I am early retired. My visa is valid until juli 23. If the borders are reopening after my visa is valid can I get a new non immigrant o before my 50 birthday? (I will get 50 in September). What do I need to get it? I have around 400000 on the Thai account. Together with my monthly retirement income I will have 800000 thbt. Is it possible to get a non immigrant o long stay (maby at Samui) ? What are my possibilities?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a 49-year-old German woman currently on a Multiple Non-Immigrant O visa, inquires about her options for obtaining a new Non-Immigrant O visa before her 50th birthday in September, especially given her retirement income and savings of 800,000 THB. Responses indicate that she cannot apply for a retirement visa until she turns 50. A suggested option is to obtain a Single Entry Tourist Visa to cover the gap until her birthday.

She needs to bridge between July 23 and her birthday in September and a real possibility that the borders won’t open soon.

As you have several months to explore your options...Good Luck

And the key being the opening of a border to get a tourist visa.

Then she can proceed with a retirement option if she meets the requirements for it... Which is 800,000 Thai baht in a Thai bank account...(not 400,000).

Does Germany still do the Affidavit of Income letters ?

And how interesting it may be, it does not matter you have a visa inside your passport which is done by mistake. You used it and had the benefits of it, it is time to look forward.

And no, in Thailand and surrounding countries it must be minimum 50 years of age

Only option is to get a Single Entry Tourist Visa to fill the gap until 9 September

, thank you very much and sorry for the confusion😬

No, you can not get a Visa based on being over 50 years of age if you are not 50 years of age or older.

Lets focus on the OP question of today please....not her visa of past. Thank You.
