TLDR : Answer Summary
There are no direct boat services from Phuket to Krabi. Travelers can take boats from Phuket to the Phi Phi Islands or other nearby islands such as Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai, and then catch separate boats to Krabi from those locations.
Michael ********
There never really been boats Phuket directly to Krabi.

Boats go from Phuket to Phi Phi, Koh Yao Noi, Koh Yao Yai and then there are boats from those places to Krabi or Ao Sane

So I could go by taxi from Phuket to Krabi and then another day go by ferry/speedboat to Phi Phi from Krabi?

we have just booked a boat from koh lanta to phi phi tomorrow. Whilst it’s not krabi it is smaller island so I expect boats will be running. Our booking is a scheduled daily speedboat 700 bht. Per person as big boat not running. Hope that helps

I will know more when I get to phi phi

rent a bike drive around the island, do the circuit.

There is a really cool island very small wonderful beach thats good for camping, we used to do a lot of kids birthdays there.

The guy below can arrange.

In the North of the island there is some interesting Kayaking and exploration.

Got a friend there I have known over 30 years does kayaking trips dont think its part of his normal tour but Lau Gado and Big tree are the highlights.

When I drive around i find nice places to stop are Takoa pier have a coffee there at the womens association place. Lots of hornbills in that area. On the west of the island there is a nice little fishing village amongst the mangroves, again on the west side drive through the rice fields, great scenery.

Afternoon stop and chill at Sabai Corner bungalows, great breeze there
