Hi, my name is June. I used to study in the UK for over six years. I graduated and recently returned to work in Thailand as a lecturer in university. My boyfriend plans to visit me this month (We have been together for more than 6 years).

The plan is he will come on a tourist visa and we will get married. Then he will try to apply for a job in Thailand in order to stay longer.

My question is for the tourist visa he is going to apply, which way is better for his application between..

1) He mention in the application that we are in a long-term relationship and he will stay with me during the time in Thailand (We will not mention that we plan to marry or getting a job) In this case, I will give hime the invitation letter to invite him to stay with me and mention that after the visa ends, he will go back to the UK

2) He just apply as a tourist, book the hotels. Don't mentioned me at all (or mention me as only a friend).
