Ok so I just had a fun day with immigration so thought I would share so newer people learn & dont repeat.

I stay in Samut Pakan in a condo & I went to the bangkok office to do a 30 day VISA extension, I had already done this before while living in a condo in Samrong earlier this year so went on autopilot. Wrong!

At Bangkok they started to process my application but then refused to complete because of address in Samut Prakan & I was diverted back to an office in Samut Prakan, 370baht cab fare later I am at Samut Prakan & advised that my landlord didnt file an Alien Resident form so I must pay the fine for failing to notify on her behalf minus 800 baht.

Make sure if you lease to have the owner supply a copy of this form for your records.

Anyway full day lost plus 1800 baht additional in transport cost & the fine lesson learned.
