Hi! I'm a Canadian coming to Thailand for a total of 93 days (booked it before learning of the 90 day thing). I'll be entering with a 60 day Visa and was thinking I'll have to leave the country for at least a few days. But someone suggested I just get the 30day extension and then play dumb when I leave and pay the 500baht/day (1500 baht) penalty. Any comments on the feasibility of doing this? I am required to put the number of days I'm staying on my 60 day visa application so I am uneasy about playing dumb but maybe being overly paranoid? Thanks for any advice!!
