Is it possible to do the marriage visa extension/renewal without my wife, if I have a letter from her hospital?

My marriage visa extension expires on the 27th November, I put the 400,000 into my bank on the 18th as I got the date wrong, I believe I can still do the extension on the 19th November as that will be two months and I'll just get a stamp staying I return on the 20th December. The issue is that my wife is due to give birth on 21st November, if I am "lucky" I'll have to go to immigration with a 9 month pregnant wife, however I can see a scenario where my wife gives birth early and can't go to immigration, do people think I can go in with a letter from the hospital explaining why she can't come in?

About to submit my DTV application from Ho Chi Minh, does anyone know if you need to show proof of accommodation in Thailand? I will bring proof of my hotel booking in Vietnam.

Thank you!

Trying to decide what visa to apply for. Us passport. I want to consult with an agent. One agent quoted me 3000 bht for 30 min consultation. Seems a bit pricey. Anyone know good, honest, reasonable agent I can consult with?

Hello,

Does anyone have which local embassy can process a Non-B (work) visa the fastest?

All the paperwork+company is legit and prepared by a very reputable law office, but my perfered embassy (Singapore) is a 3 week online process

Hoping for something closer to 2-3 days, in person in the embassy.

Can fly anwhere regionally that makes sense

Thanks,B

Update DTV South Africa: The short of it is they still do not have any information about the DTV, cost or procedures and asked to follow up mid August.

You cannot go to the Pretoria Embassy in person anyway they won't let you in. I had to speak to an officer over the phone. She said it'll be likely that the DTV application will be done via a courier service. The VFS agent knows nothing about the DTV either.

Hello Group, I am seeking anyone with experience or knowledge regarding changing visa status. Is there a required length of time that one must live in Thailand on any type of long-term visa before changing to a different visa after said visa expires? I am currently living in Bangkok via a Non-Immigrant O-A (Retirement) Visa. Earlier this year, I married my Thai Girlfriend (we had been dating for a little over 5 years) and I am considering changing my visa status to Non-Immigrant O (Marriage) Visa. It should be noted that my current visa will expire later this year, so I am researching my options before that time arrives. I have reached out to my local Immigrations Office, where I have spoken to 2 different officers whereas one officer didn't understand my question and transferred me to another officer who advised that I have to renew my current retirement visa at least once before I can change it to a marriage visa. So my understanding is I cannot change my visa status until I approach my second year of living in Thailand on my current visa.

Thanks in advance for alls answers provided regarding my question.

What are the current requirements to get a Non-immigrant O Visa for 1 year? What documents are needed? Is there a checklist for this? Thank you for your answer.
