Research question about health matters in Chiang Mai.

I'm in the UK looking to retire to Thailand.

What is the process to go through if you need to see a Doctor about an ailment?

In the UK you go and see the Doctor you are registered with but I know that isn't the case in Thailand.

How can someone obtain a medical visa or extension in Thailand for surgery while on a 45-day visa exempt?

Hi Tod and admins- (the fountains of knowledge 😉) me again- How does one obtain a medical visa if here on a current 45 day visa exempt. Son has to go for surgery as he has torn his ACL. No idea where to start. Hope u can advise and thanks in advance.
