As someone who holds alot of visas globally from some quite challenging countries (russia, china, india) i found the DTV is the hardest visa i ever had to apply for. Seems like they keep asking for a endless stream of documents i really have never seen anything like this its never enough lol

Thai visa are not difficult to apply for.

They are only difficult to gat when you don't comply with the specific requirements for the visa.

When you apply for a simple tourist visa they certainly will not ask you for an endless stream of documents.

I disagree. I used Issa Compass...very affordable. (5000 baht) And they do all of the paperwork without error. Also if you don't get approved your money is refunded by Issa..far from useless

Chinese visas aren't difficult to apply for; nowadays many western countries don't even need one for visits of up to 30 days.
