THIM worked great for me and my understanding is saving a profile on it makes future needs very easy if you plan rentry(s)

I just used Thim. Can take a while for it to accept the passport scanning, but once that info is in there, then you only have to complete your trip info each time, and answer a simple question within 72hrs of arrival. Excellent.

Scan your passport into a computer than use that for the THIM app picture. It will.not let the hologram over your picture on the US passport to screw it up. Instead of scanning your passport with your phone scan the picture of your passport on your computer screen. Worked for my US passport

I got all my data pre-texted on a WORD.doc on my computer, and just copy&paste them into the original TDAC form. Easy peasy done in 2 minutes, I don't need the THIM App for it

The app is far better because you can set up your own profile. Each time you come in, there’s no need to fill out the date, as it’s already in your profile setup. Just add in the flight, etc.

I used the THIM and had no issues. I like being able to enter all my info for my party in advance. TDAC worked fine, but I like the THIM a little better.

I did website last year and THIM this year. Both easy and approval in less than a few hours. 🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽

I think the app is much easier and more convenient as I can apply a long time in advance, the app remembers my data and reminds me to complete the health declaration just before arrival, and I can access everything just using my fingerprint.
It's a no-brainer really. The website is very old school and offers no obvious advantage that I can see.

No difference TBH done both even tho it's compulsory to do , since the TDAC was introduced I have never been asked to show it on arrival

I did THIM app just a month ago easy as, I used website previously no probs either, I think THIM App now because the QR is on your phone so just pass your phone with ya passport as I did no probs.

Mike Innes hi I had this problem (UKPassport) for ages. I persevered using different locations in my house and different lighting. Eventually I got it to accept. It’s the plastic page they was causing my problems.

Jeffrey Peters I couldn't set up a profile, because THIM is not able to scan my passport page. Tried more than 30 times. But you don't need this f...ing profile to do TDAC on the THIM app.

Uschi Schreib I uploaded mine from a pictue on my Thim phone app no problem. My phone had a little more trouble scanning the passport RFID, but I finally got it done.

Shaun Smith You don't need this profile for TDAC on THIM. Had same problems with scanning passpirt page. No focussing, no recognition. Tried more than 30 times.

Shaun Smith the passport scanning can be tricky. I tried many times one day without success, then it worked first time the following day.

Michael Purdy - You can have most of it entered ready now but it won’t let you submit it , then in the 72 hour window you can do your health declaration and send it !!!

Because of travel I do this monthly since the app came out. before that i used the website. The app is much easier and much faster. The app has auto fill. The website has scroll down menus that work very slow.
