I'm currently on the Covid visa extension and I will need to get another covid extension.

Which immigration centre must I go to in Bangkok? Chaeng Wattana or Muang Thong Thani?

Do I also need to get a queue online or could I walk in?

Thanks for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on where to go in Bangkok for a Covid visa extension, asking specifically between Chaeng Wattana and Muang Thong Thani. Additional inquiries include whether to schedule an appointment online or if a walk-in is acceptable. Commenters note that the choice of immigration center may depend on the original type of visa used to enter Thailand, and they suggest making an appointment online, although the applicable counter needs to be determined based on visa type.

What's the original visa you used to enter Thailand?

>Do I also need to get a queue online or could I walk in?

Probably yes. You can make an appointment at

however you can't register until you know which counter you're going to (which depends on which visa you used to enter Thailand)

I pulled my errant post. You would go to Chaengwattana Section N to get a new covid extension, be ready to prove you live in bangkok (with a TM30 receipt) if asked

quick question on a similar matter if I may. The COVID extension program is currently available until early July? Or has there been any further announcement. My extension runs out August 6 so I was looking into perhaps applying for one more 60day extension whilst waiting for a possible employer.

Were you a teacher? If you were, you would use Counter N, if you were not a teacher, you would select counter M.

Thanks. I entered Thailand on the Non-B visa. I had to change it recently to the Covid visa and I need to get a 2nd covid extension now.

I did it in Khon Kaen which is where I previously worked. This is why I’m asking about the process in Bangkok.
