TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry about finding Tylenol PM in Thailand sparked a discussion revealing that Tylenol PM, which contains paracetamol and the antihistamine diphenhydramine, is generally not available as a combined product in Thailand. Many comments suggest requesting paracetamol from local pharmacies, particularly near hospitals or smaller shops, as that ingredient is widely accessible. Alternatives like standalone antihistamines or combined medications (e.g., local products at 7-Eleven) are noted. Users advise learning the local name for medications and discuss variations in brand awareness among locals.

Every country has different brand names so it is best to know the molecule name (in this case you got paracetamol, not sure about the pm part of it though) and suddenly all pharmacies have them. I just google mine and they all pop up.
the one he wanted was with an extra ingredient. Sorry, I meant that acetaminophen/paracetamol was close to what he wanted. And its different to aspirin.
my understanding from the pharmacy i go to is paracetamol it not the same or similar to Tylenol. But also not the same as aspirin. But is for pain but not the anti inflammatory that Tylenol is
Strange why everyone is saying that people don't know Tylenol here. Tylenol brand is available at every 7-11 and Big C and Lotus and pretty much everywhere that sells paracetamol. It comes in a white strip of 10 caplets or in the normal bottles. As for the PM, they don't sell the version of Tylenol with Diphenhydramine in Thailand. You'll have to separately take Tylenol and antihistamines.

Ya, many people wouldn't know what Tylenol is. You need to ask for, or look for "Paracetamol". Or get it translated.

Tylenol PM is basically paracetamol mixed with the antihistamine diphenhydramine which makes you drowsy. Both can be purchased over the counter very easily
The 'PM' in what he's asking for is an additional ingredient, a sleep aid, so it's not just paracetamol..I doubt they have the equivalent to Tylenol PM otc in Thailand..
