Where can I find the list of hotels participating in the Phuket Safe and Sealed program?

I plan on taking the safe and sealed option, that is available for Phuket, in November. Does anyone know where I can find the list of hotels currently taking part in the scheme?

I am not asking for people's opinions on my decision, before the negativity flows from the keyboard warriors. I for one actually like the attitude of the government for "trying" to keep their people safe during this crisis. What price do you put on people's safety? If I have to pay a few extra pounds to quarantine, knowing I will be in a far safer place this winter, than at home, then it's a price worth paying.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is seeking a list of hotels that are part of the 'Safe and Sealed' program in Phuket, which they plan to utilize for their visit in November. However, many comments indicate that the program has not yet been officially approved or announced, and a definitive list of participating hotels does not currently exist. There is speculation regarding eligibility criteria, particularly concerning which nationalities may qualify, as some countries are reportedly under consideration for inclusion. The conversation also touches on general COVID-19 safety concerns and the state of tourism in Thailand.

I'm not buying this plandemic I know absolutely no one whose been sick from this flu and if you do by chance get it 99% of the time your going to survive this. Most affected have comorbidity. Whether the numbers have been manipulated or not is one question. Believe what you want, but my brother very nearly didn't survive this virus. He will attest that this virus is very real and needs to be taken seriously. I think anyone who has lost loved ones to this will also strongly disagree with the scam theory.

Assuming they use the same protocol they did for the other re-entry groups, Once you request the Certificate of Entry from the Thai Embassy or consulate they will send you a link to an automated form and the list of hotels and requirements. It’s very efficient and straight forward asl long as you read everything very carefully.

There is still an intense conflict between the medical community and the economic side in Thailand. It appears the Prime Minister favors the Phuket option, but he’s not forcing the matter.

, the Phuket test will take place. They are currently working out all the details to make it happen, and contain any virus outbreak that might happen. They are working very closely with the department of health, and CCSA. Phuket was chosen mainly because it has an international airport planes can come directly into, without risking Bangkok, and the travel to Phuket incountry, and its ability to be completely isolated

it most likely will happen, however it is interesting that the Prime Minister said they will poll residents of Phuket and if they’re not in favor of the plan they won’t proceed, but nothing has been posted about such a poll. If they carry out part of the plan that says workers at the resorts must also quarantine for two weeks before returning home, such an idea could meet with stiff opposition..

It is just an unelaborated idea of government. And because this plan will not help tourism to get back on track, I doubt that it will be realized at all. With the increasing number of COVID cases in Europe and America and the incompetence of their governments, I hardly believe that this plan is a priority for the Thai government at the moment.

I suspect there's a good chance it will happen, when it does there will be a list of hotels. For now we aren't there yet. This is the current list of Alternative Local State Quarantine (ALSQ) hotels which includes three in Phuket, I am guessing packages will probably be similar to the Phuket hotels already on this list.

, and what exactly does that have to do with coming to Phuket to avoid, and be safe from this virus? Umm, NOTHING! With that way of thinking then 38million tourists should not have come to Thailand last year, because road deaths make it too dangerous. How many of those 38million died in road accidents?

Paul, the holdup right now is the visa being approved, and it's requirements. It will at the very least require you to be 50+ years old, as they are aiming for retired people. That is as far as anything has gotten so far. They are tentatively looking at the end of October to open it up, but at this point everything is still speculative. The big thing is the visa, and getting it approved by all the agencies involved.

, I am commenting on what might happen with this proposed tourist project being considered. I was just referencing what Thailand considers the age minimum they consider for retirement visa, and how this age limit might be used in their proposed long term tourist project for Phuket, and is only in the proposal stage. I am just speculating. Thailand has proposed targeting retirees for long term tourist options for Phuket during the Winter season, and they might use an age limit for that new tourist visa, but I am just speculating. There is nothing actually said by the government on what the requirements would be. Currently Thailand allows foreigners 50 or over to apply for retirement visas, but Thai workers for the government or military are forced to retire at age 60. If they use an age limit, it is a question what it would be, but only IF.

, no, I only mentioned what Thailand considers the age of who they consider retired. This new tourist visa proposed for Phuket might not have an age restriction, but as this is a target group test, I suspect they will have an age limit

, they are targeting retired people looking to Winter someplace warm, and safe. You should have seen that, as it is in all news articles covering it. That would likely mean the visa (90day+two extensions) could possibly be restricted to just retired persons, and for retirement visa currently the 50+ age is required. That is where I am assuming from, and clarified "if in fact they set an age restriction".

Yes, they are marketing to the demographic, but there is nothing in terms of criteria that is restricting it to that age group. They would not look a gift horse in the mouth.

, they are proposing this as a test group, and can very easily put very limited requirements, like age, on this proposed target group. But, no requirements have been mentioned yet, but there will be requirements, as it is looked at as a test group of tourists.

, not confusing at all. This is a test that will target market to the retirement crowd looking to get away from Winter. Being that a new tourist visa is being proposed, and to make sure they only bring in their target visitors, I predict there will be an age restriction. That is what I see happening, so they can maintain the group they want to test this with

, let's hope so, as the age to get a retirement visa under normal situations is 50 years old, but, Thailand's incountry retirement age for government workers/military, is 60. Let's just hope they use the 50 age number, if in fact they even set an age restriction. Like I said, right now everything is still up in the air.
