What steps did I take to get my DTV approved at the Phnom Penh Embassy for a Workation?

Thought I'd share exactly what I did since these posts really helped me when applying myself!

Submitted: Jan 8th (6:30pm)

Approved: Jan 24rd (9:30 am)

Type: Workation (freelancer)

Total time: 17 days (12 working days)

Nationality: UK

Pending Approval: 9th Jan

- proof of entry requested 9th Jan

Here's everything I submitted.

Proof of funds:

• 3 months bank statements.

• Final balance of B900k+

• 3 months payslips

Proof of location:

• Hotel receipt in Phnom Penh

Work Portfolio:

• Job offer letter stating remote work

• My CV (Professional Portfolio)

• TM30 from condo in Chiang Mai

• Cover letter

Just wondering why the long time between applying and approval ?

Other than proving you were IN Cambodia (which you did by your visa/entry stamp after they requested it) did you get a request for any extra documentation?
