Hi, up to date advise needed, please. I am UK passport holder Thai business owner and director and currently have 1 year business Visa and Work Permit. Doing my first 3 month border run and want to know the easiest border to cross and come back, flight preferred but open to ideas. I am on Koh Phangan. Thanks in advance for any help. Peace

Best in which way? Malaysian borders are easy to cross but many ask for to show 20.000 Thb in cash, Cambodian Immigration want you to stay overnight in Cambodia or charge you a fee. Nong Khai border to Laos is very much used but need visa for Laos. Myanmar borders you have to pay for a day pass in Myanmar.

From Koh Pangan to the Malaysian border or Myanmar Border, could use Cambodia Border, little further the Laos border. Flights to KL, Penang, Singapore or any other country. Look for international flights leaving from Koh Samui or Surathani Airport. Best is to check with a travel agent if you are interested in low budget travels.
