TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on how to prepare their wife to access funds in their bank account in case of their incapacitation or death. Key recommendations from the community include preparing a will and a power of attorney, ensuring the wife has access to the ATM PIN, and possibly opening a joint account. Legal implications regarding the need for a Thai will and whether such documents require court confirmation were also discussed.

A Will..... she cannot legally touch your money unless you have made one. I've made my lawyer Power of Attorney so that he pays all debts including the funeral then releases the remainder to my partner. This way the Thai authorities nor my Embassy get involved.

Ka Noo appears that you need it and the basics or you’d have your answer. You need AI to know you should have a will?

Then get pissy when answer is too simple for you. Hahaha no wonder she is in a rush
