I'm seeking advice from anyone on a non-o retirement visa that has obtained a Used Household Goods Effects Duty Exemption.
What documentation was required and how long did it take to get approval? Can it be arranged online or only in person?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks advice on obtaining a Used Household Goods Effects Duty Exemption for a non-O retirement visa, requesting information on required documentation and the approval timeframe. The comments suggest a work permit is needed for this exemption, which is not available with a retirement visa, and emphasize that personal effects must be imported within six months of arriving in Thailand.

You need a work permit and must bring your personal effects into Thailand within 6 months of arriving.. Only other route is returning Thai national who has been out of the country at least 12 months ๐

I don't think you can get one unless you have a work permit, which you can't get on a retirement visa
