What do the valid from and valid until dates on my 60-day Thai tourist visa mean?

go to the Department of Consular Affairs on Chaeng Watthana Road early in the morning. Find a translation desk outside, wait for them to finish the paper, and then head up to the 3rd floor to queue for legalization.

The US consulate can "notarize" a document. What do you mean by certify?

I was married in the United States to a Thai citizen. I had to get my married certificate authenticated. In the US, you can PM, me if you need guidance i completed the process while in the us.

They are no longer issuing non o dependent visas based on non o retirement visas. Only Non O marriage and work visas. Not since the end of 2024. I literally just went through this. Some embassies will do non-OA dependent visas from the home country but not all of them, so it depends. There is a lot of old and incorrect information floating around, but it is unlikely that it will be approved. They will still take your application money.

You bring a copy of the letter from the embassy website saying they no longer certify documents. Just had to go through this last week.

If your non-o is based on retirement are you sure she can be a dependant ?

Might check out this order and ask immigration if this order stands. The Thai embassy in the Philippines told me our US documents do not need to be authenticated.

Get it translated and then get it verified you just need a translation service to do it

You say you're applying for an extension, but what is your wife actually going to apply for? A non-O visa? That's not available in Thailand as a trailing spouse dependent for non-O visa/extension holders. And embassies no longer sell it either.

USA only. Takes a few weeks
