Hi everyone, applying for a non-immigrant B visa (teaching). I've done this twice before, but since it's online now it's confusing me a bit. I just have a couple questions:

Accommodation: I have a hotel booked for the first few days, but since I'll be moving to Thailand for the job, I'll obviously be looking for an apartment. It asks for "additional accommodation in Thailand" but I don't have it yet... is that okay, or will they flag me? Should I pre-book a 30 day stay in booking . com just in case?

Proof of current location: I put my flight ticket of course, but I'm applying in Japan because that's where I live now and will be moving from. I've done this previously and they wanted to see my residence card, but online it only lets you upload one document. Which one do they want?

Thank you for any help! I searched the group but couldn't find these specific answers.

Thanks Graham. Do you know about the accommodation requirement? I can't remember what I brought last time to the physical embassy, but I only had a hotel booked for a day or two from my school, because I went looking for my own place soon after.

Cady Lillian each Embassy has different requirements so check the RTE Tokyo website for their requirements and/or ask soneone who applied in Japan to answer that
