Hi group

Just back from RoiEt immigration, this is a brief summary applying from visa exempt to O Retirement visa,

I had 21 days left on initial 30 days, they added an extra 30 days allowing for processing for the 90 day visa prior to actual Retirement visa, here comes the surprise, they required 3 photos of my friends house and 2 inside with myself and friend, this was a shock, but no problem, all other documents were straightforward ie passport photo, tm 87 tm 7, and before anyone asks No not girlfriend and No not married visa, just a Retirement visa application.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently transitioned from a visa exempt status to an O Retirement visa at the Roi Et immigration office, receiving an additional 30 days for processing. Uniquely, they were required to submit three photos of their friend's house and two photos of themselves with their friend, alongside standard documents like a passport photo and forms TM 87 and TM 7. It’s advised to check specific requirements with local immigration offices as they may vary.
