1. open Uae bank account and transfert your 500 k bath 2. change adress of your uk (hsbc) account , as foreigner with use adress > the issue is coming from your expatriation in UAE and adress has changed

I would need to then wait 3 months for the funds to season in UAE.

The address on my UK bank account matches my UAE address but the IO has said they will not look at a non UAE bank account.
