This appears to be something new at Jomtien Immigration office hours. Get there an hour before noon or an hour before closing at 4:30 unless you have something to pick up or a question to ask.

Answer summary

Recent discussions indicate that the Jomtien Immigration office has established a new queuing policy where no queue numbers are issued after 11:00 AM for the morning and after 3:30 PM for the afternoon. Visitors are advised to arrive at the office at least an hour before noon or 4:30 PM, unless they only wish to pick up documents or ask questions.

Okay, what this IS is actually nothing new. Chaengwattana does something like this too..

What it reads like is they STOP giving out queue numbers for service at 11 AM <- for the morning round of stuff AND at 3:30 for the afternoon round of stuff.

What this most likely means is IF you show up after 11 in the morning you can't get a queue until they re-open from lunch at 13:00.

AND if you show up after 15:30 you can't get a queue number for service that day..

Ron Angel I don’t know Robert Lagas and he is not blocked by me. I was at Jomtien immigration 3 months ago. I arrived at 4:15. The place was empty and I did my 90 day check in. I was in and out in a few minutes.

Been like that a long time. Last ticket before lunch issued at 11am. Last ticket of the day issued at 15.30. If you get a ticket number 851 too 899 for the retirement desk, even at 8.30am, you won't be seen until after lunch starting at 1pm
