Hello, I am a Belgian citizen and looking to get a Non Immigrant O A visa based on being over 50 at the Thai embassy of Brussels. My goal is to move to Thailand next month. The monthly income of 65.000 Baht is not a problem, but they also ask 800K on a bank account. So apparently the Thai embassy in Belgium states that I need both financial requirements. I send an email and they replied with an attachment from their website clearly mentioning both 800k AND the 65k monthly income. I sent a second email with copies of the financial requirements as it is on the website of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, in English and Thai language (800k OR 65k income) I also checked 3 other sites from Thai embassies in Germany, the UK and The Netherlands (800k OR 65k income) I'm very confused now. So far they did not reply my second email. Does anyone from Belgium had his retirement visa in Brussels?
TLDR : Answer Summary
A Belgian citizen is seeking clarity on the financial requirements for a Non-Immigrant O-A visa, specifically the need for both an 800K baht bank balance and a 65K baht monthly income as stated by the Thai embassy in Brussels, despite conflicting information from other Thai embassies.
