so did you pass it right?

I will try to apply next year.

Assuming I fulfill all the requirements, do you think its quite easy to be approved?

I will try to learn some basic thai if needed.

I submitted all paperwork and have an interview scheduled. Whether I pass depends on the remaining stages yet at least my application made it through which I think is a good sign.

From ppl I spoke to, it seems the paperwork is most important to prove you’re paying tax, are independent and will not be a burden to the country. Collecting all the docs isn’t easy, yet it’s not impossible either. Hope that helps

hello 👋 I was finally interviewed a few days ago, now I need to wait.

Did you receive your PR or are still waiting?

Hi - I’ve just gone through the PR process and submitted all docs myself. No agent. I kept a pretty detailed record of what each doc requires and each step. Any questions you have in particular? Happy to help if can

it can sound very overwhelming and daunting yet breaking down the process into small steps makes it more manageable

And did the government staff speak to you in Thai on the doc submission day? So you submitted last Dec.?

I applied under work category - yes applied in Dec and all conversations are in Thai.

I will admit my Thai is not great so fluency is not necessary, yet basic ability to explain who you are, how long you’ve been here, why you want PR is needed
