TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat is looking for recommendations on tool shops in Thailand to purchase woodworking and steelworking tools. Community members suggest several options, including popular stores like Home Pro, Thai Watsuda, and Global House. They also mention alternative avenues such as online auction sites like Chilindo and Facebook Marketplace, as well as exploring flea markets for bargains. Additionally, the suburb Klongtom in Bangkok is noted for having numerous power tool shops.

I bought a lot of tools, benches etc from Astro products to set up a home work shop. I was very happy with everything received. They have various outlets in Thailand.

Or Global, another km past Home Pro, both are good

Kobelco is best brand to use here in my opinion. Its a very good standard manufactured locally under Japanese supervision and standards. Depends where you are, i have used supplier in Chon Buri for large amounts but for personal i just find local supplier.

If its for vehicle use join expat car club thailand they have lots suppliers listed on page.

I am AWS certified welding inspector level 2

Try some of the major flea markets. You may get lucky and find some bargains, and help someone in the community.
