At the Central mall on PTY 2nd road, there are real state sales agents with tables and sample models of property resembling apartment/condo complexes and buildings.

Better get a good attorney because most foreigners are prohibited from owning most real estate in Thailand. Maybe marry a Thai women and she will be the listed land owner. Some condo units that meet certain requirements you can own a unit, but not land.
