This question is about "everything else".  

Are there any decent public swimming pools in Bangkok?  

Preferable Olympic-size pools, but it is perfectly fine if they are not, they should be of decent dimensions for sports swimming.

most will let you pay to use the pool. Sometimes if you eat at the restaurant they let me for free. But don't assume anything. Talk to them.100bht to use the pool. It varies
