TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights several recommended areas and resorts in Ko Phangan suitable for families with small children. Notable mentions include High Life Bungalows, which offers great views and food but is on a steep hillside, and Ko Mah Beach Resort near Mae Haad beach, which is considered perfect for families. Suggestions were also made for exploring areas like Haad Yuan and Ban Thai.

I always stay at High Life Bungalows. It’s on a steep hillside with steps going to the beach. It’s got a beautiful infinity pool with great views and the best food I’ve found on the island. Not sure about small kids and steep hillside but check it out online or in person and use your own judgment.

You will want a rental car unless you plan to stay there the whole time

They will meet you at the ferry if you want
