Hi hoping for a recommendation, looking for a visa AGENT or LAW FIRM that does THAI CITIZENSHIP applications and processing. I have had a residence permit for at least 10 years, and have accumulated enough points to qualify for citizenship already. Just want an agent to handle the paperwork and submission.

The user has held a residence permit for at least 10 years and believes they qualify for citizenship. Several comments provide advice, raise clarifying questions about residency status and requirements, and suggest consulting a Thai citizenship group. You should take this question to the Thai citizenship group.

Also, experts warn against using an attorney or agent.

A guy on the old Thai Visa board did this many many years ago said he had to sing the Thai National song during his interview. True

Mikkel Kruse its not, after confirming with immigration already, i dont even need a job anymore. The lesson to be learned is, not everything you read on those lists applies to everyone.

What's actually a "resident permit". Is that permanent residency?

Nathan Complicator Converting Thai permanent residency (PR) to citizenship requires holding the Thai Permanent Residence "red book" for at least 5 consecutive years, maintaining a high income (minimum ฿80,000/month or ฿40,000/month if married to a Thai national), and passing a Thai language proficiency test/interview. Applicants must be at least 20 years old, have a clean criminal record, and be employed with tax records for the past three years.

Stephen Howell your information is not correct and you are confusing some of the requirements for permentant residency with the requirements for citizenship. I know as i submitted and processed sucessfully my residency permit myself.

Also the residency book is blue, or white if its a copy. The red book you are required to get in the process is not a residency permit.
