What additional documents are required for the Digital Nomad Visa application at the Thai Embassy in Jakarta?

I applied for the Digital nomad DTV from Jakarta, Indonesia this week. Applied on the 17th May and they replied on the 25th

They have asked for the following documents:

With regards to your e-Visa application, the Royal Thai Embassy/ The Royal Thai Consulate-General would like to request for additional documents as follows:

* **Other request documents:** Please upload Company Registration and ID COPY of the employer. The documents must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thai Embassy in the respective issuing country.
* **Other request documents:** Please upload : 1. Plan of stay in Thailand and Lease agreement (if any) 2. All pages of current and previous passport not skipping any pages.

But of a faaf and I think they're being a quite strict.

My boss started the business in the USA and lives in Singapore so getting all these extra documents will take weeks.

I've asked if I can provide the following documents instead (which my boss had on hand)

* IRS Employer Identification Number Confirmation Letter (CP 575 G)
* California Articles of Organization (LLC-1)
* Membership Certificate
* Copy of the signatory’s Singapore passport

And for the second part they wanted to me to upload every page of my current and previous passports.

Fine but they only give a 3MB size upload limit which is nothing for a 50+ photos joined together. So had to compress the pdf online twice in order to fit a 3MB size.

Of course they're being strict, and that's a good thing, is it not? Many people have been coming in to Thailand the past few years and causing problems, so they are rightfully doing their due diligence

Utter nonsense, yes. I mean, asking for a (COPY OF) company registration and copies of passport pages is reasonable. But personal information from the owner and legalized (apostille) versions of such is ridiculous. I guess this is caused by people applying for DTV visa in third countries, where they neither are a citizen nor where the company they work for is registered. In that case, the Thai embassies there have no experience with the documents supplied.

Company registration, employer ID, passport page copies are not unusual requests. Others have posted similar. Hopefully you get approved soon.
