Hello again, all.

If I'm heading to Vietnam to apply for the DTV (I'm currently in Thailand) should I include the address of the accommodation in Vietnam on the cover letter, or my permanent address back in the UK (I haven't been there for years)?

Any tips on what I should/shouldn't include in the letter? I work remotely and have the funds etc.

Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community suggests that it is not necessary to include your address in the cover letter for the DTV visa application. Instead, just address it to the respective embassy and include your reasons for applying, your intention to comply with the visa rules, and a summary of your application details.
