Hi, can I have this question? Is Vientiane the only Thai Consulate (or Embassy) where it is required to arrange an appointment in advance in order to get a time slot for visa application? Or any other surrounding countries (Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar) also have this system? Thanks for answer.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether Vientiane is the only Thai consulate that requires an appointment for visa applications, or if other nearby countries such as Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar have similar appointment systems. A comment response mentions that some countries like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur have specific appointment systems for visa applications.

Singapore does an complete on line application, Kuala Lumper has an appointment to apply and an appointment to collect, Vientiane an appointment to apply. And as far as I know in China it it is also online application at the embassy or appointments by Consulates. But if you have doubt, this information is shared on their websites.
