Is there a way to make an FAQ pinned to the top? With so many posts, it's hard to find specific answers, so easier to ask again.

TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion focuses on the challenges of finding specific answers regarding immigration and visa rules in the community. Users suggest utilizing the search function, featured posts, or a dedicated 'Files' section for FAQs. However, it is noted that immigration policies vary by location in Thailand and are subject to change, making generalized pinned FAQs less practical.

The reason a FAQ or any pinned information is mostly useless for immigration matters is because everything is handled at the local level. There is no one answer that fits every situation, fits every immigration office, or fits every embassy. Each immigration office in every province of Thailand sets their own policies and requirements. Each Thai embassy overseas sets their own policies and requirements. And these change constantly as well, based on the leadership and staff at those locations. Any information would be outdated the week after it was posted.

I was just trying to think of a way to make it easier on the moderators, but I'm sure you have a copy/paste ready for everything. 😁

Try clicking on "Featured " or using the search function. There are so many topics covered that pinned posts quickly become unworkable

There is a β€œFiles” section that can store a FAQ document.

You can use the spyglass πŸ” and type in a word to search for answers.
