TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Pass has not been officially finalized as ending on July 1st. Although there have been announcements from government sources, confirmation will only come when it is published in the Royal Gazette. Currently, the situation regarding insurance requirements for different visa categories remains unclear.

So short-term visitors will be allowed to come uninsured, but one-year guests on O-A visa will still need to buy COVID insurance? I guess someone has to keep pumping money to counterbalance the govt's losses of a year ago. Sounds reasonable... (except that the COVID insurance tends to have such a high deductible that it is just about worthless, especially when COVID seems to be comparable now to ordinary flu).

@Robert *****
the non o-a is required health insurance not specifically Covid19 insurance.

The non-o does not require health insurance.

Not official until published but as it's been announced from official sources it's highly unlikely not to be the case
