Is a large money transfer before applying for the Workcation visa in Vietnam acceptable?

Hi, so I was planning to do the Workcation category but I need to transfer a large sum of money into my account to get it to 500k. Apparently Vietnam is okay with just a 1 month statement if I understand correctly. But, when they see a large transfer a couple weeks before application time is that fine?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is concerned about the implications of transferring a large sum of money into their account to meet the 500,000 THB requirement for a Workcation visa in Vietnam. There are mixed responses from the community, with some citing experiences of needing seasoned funds, while others suggest that a single large transfer could raise red flags. It appears that approvals can vary greatly depending on the applicant's country of origin and other documentation provided, emphasizing the importance of careful presentation and possibly including a cover letter to explain the source of funds.

Transfer it from where? Why not just use the source account?

obviously it’s in crypto/investment account, or he doesn’t have the amount and is gonna get a friend to transfer it. Can’t use investment or crypto accounts as proof

I transferred my money around 29th of December. Submit application a week after. Documents requested a few days after that. Submitted extra documents. Application went through on the 12th of January.

Recommend a cover letter that explains where the money comes from.

As per posts on the groups, Hanoi has seen rejections with funds seasoned over 7 months and has seen approvals with funds being available for as less as 10 days.

Some approvals were made with large transfers visible too.

Safe bet is to have seasoned funds and not show large transfers. ie Opening balance to be significantly high already.

Even more important is the way the application is presented and indexed. Income/s, Contracts, Portfolio, Declarations etc.
