[Dependent Visa - APPROVED Hanoi]

I recently got my DTV visa after 10 working days (Vietnamese national) and applied for my spouse (British national) straight after. 

He submitted his application on Sep 18 and got the visa in 5 working days. I don't think dependent visas necessarily take longer. In my case, it probably depended on the nationalities 😅. 

The visa was issued today - on a Sunday so it's definitive that the embassy does work on weekends. 

I used the same account on Thaievisa website for both our applications. No need to create a separate account for the dependents if you can't be bothered. 

I won't go into details unless s/o asks more specific questions. Just wanna clarify some stuff I personally wondered. 

Please stop spreading news that Hanoi is getting more difficult, and you don't need an agency doing it for you either. Just research, be well prepared, and you'll get it! Good luck everyone 😁

Hi! How many months of bank statements did you provide? And did you have the 500k THB in our account all of those months?

Hi. We provided 3 months statements and my spouse had the 500k in his bank account for about a month-ish before applying.

May I ask what documents you submitted...also with your spouse did you have an additional 500,000 Baht? Or just the initial 500,000 baht?

Anonymous participant 112 he's got his own 500k THB. We submitted his financial proof, my DTV + passport page, our translated & notarized marriage certificate, his temporary residence card + police registration as proof of address.

They don’t work on the weekend. They approved on Friday and the system sent out today

It does not necessarily means that the Embassies work week-ends.

It is very common that companies send out e-mails at times where the traffic on their website / servers is low, such as weekends and night time.
