It took a total of 25 days from filling out the application online to receiving our passports back. Now we wait to get the COE. You have to go online after you get your passports back and fill out info for the COE.

It’s pretty fast mine was 2 days .. but I paid for overnight shipping both ways made a huge difference

After we sent application online(8 days) then mailed original copies, it took another 20 days to get processed make sure you have 3 names on the foreign insurance form and you both have to show separate income accounts..

 It came back in 3 days after they received the passport. The passport arrived late on a Friday and didn’t get COE until Monday am.

 as long as you send it express delivery and return. Only Took a little over a week from application to flight out. Went through Washington DC

 Yup, I sent it express and included an express envelope inside. Sent it to DC as well. Hopefully, I'll get mine back as quick as you did.

Hey I’m sorry every embassy is different .. you might want to contact them by phone . They didn’t send me a email stating send the documents in but they did send me a email saying visa needed to complete online COE . So I sent my stuff in they responded in 24 hours

Yes after the completion of online application .. you need them to put visa in page in your passport and send back to you

 My boyfriend submitted the online application last week. Haven’t heard anything from the embassy yet. I wonder after submitting the application, did they send you an email to mail in the documents? TIA

Once you receive your passport back you will return to your online application and upload the visa photo then bam ! COE will be sent to your email with pdf mine took 24 hours after upload

USPS was super fast ! And gets there and back overnight worth the 50$ you pay

Oh and few tips make sure you send your passport ect to the embassy in your area that is operational .. the visa application has to be printed from that embassy each embassy has different heading and is official .. when you get your COE make sure your name is spelled correctly and all info is correct

Just go through the online process and give them all the documents they ask for and fully complete it .. then send your paperwork all in .. the Washington DC is the main upload page COE but put your state in so it will go to the correct embassy in your area.. a lot of the documents will be uploaded and also sent in .. send overnight and enclose a overnight return envelope make sure you send all documents even though you uploaded them and passport

I booked 3 weeks out only cause I didn’t want to stress about time there is enough stress in this process already lol just normally 😊 a good time to book is when the next months flights are posted that is normally the 3rd week of the month

 I think you should book as soon as the flights are posted as there could be limits on the number of passengers allowed.

 we have to book before we send in for visa. How many days out should we book. If I send visa on Monday should I book for weekend

 that should be enough time but remember that only a few flights are eligible to go to Bangkok. We booked much further ahead so in case of problems with COVID test, fit to fly certificate and ASQ, etc....
