How long did it take you, start from finish to submit the DTV application? Just curious.
Been putting it off but I meet all the requirements for workcation DTV and have access to all the paper work needed. Brit living in Manila, would be applying from there.
I heard something about technical aspect being a challenge, requiring to upload all files and pictures under 1 pdf file that's 3mb. I know there are tools for it so shouldn't be a big problem.
Is it doable start to finish in few hours, a day, a weekend, or needs a week or two?
I would need to put all the docs together but I have access to it all. Only one might have to think about proof of where I live in Manila - I live with gf and rental and bills are all in her name, but address is on my local tourist alien registration card, and I guess I could book a hotel for a day or two.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The time taken to complete the DTV application for Thailand varies among applicants. Some reported quick processing times, such as only an hour to complete the application, while others noted it took up to two weeks due to additional requirements like document translation. Factors influencing this time include the clarity of paperwork, specific requirements from different embassies, and preparation of supporting documents such as proof of residency. Tools like ilovePDF are commonly recommended for document compression, which may aid the application process.
I put about 12 hours work in. I didn't have regular income so I crafted my application to make everything extremely clear with a bulletproof cover letter, and supporting docs showing assets
My advice is always make sure yout paperwork is crystal clear and easy ti read. If you meet the requirementd and make sure your application is good and easy to read they rarely will reject you.
Everyone who gets rejected dont meet requirements or have a bad application making it so embassy often misunderstand something
ilovePDF is popular among DTVERS for compressing docs into 1 file. It took me around 2 weeks which included translation of 6mths of bank statements from 2 different banks, contracts and business registration docs. It would have probably been 5 days without that. You can use your alien registration card for proof of residency.
