Hello all

Here's a suggestion to some of you, a novelty I'm sure, something outside your comfort zone.

How about when asking people for advice and receiving the advice from total strangers who are more than willing to help another human being, try using "please" and "thank you" maybe even saying "hi I wonder if someone could help please".... even a 'like' for their comment and advice would be nice.

Manners and politeness cost nothing especially when people are willing to take time out of their day to help a fellow traveler.

Thank you.

Save the trouble and the risk of getting hundreds of different answers - most of them incorrect:

Ask immigration or Thai embassies in your country!

I don't need any thanks for my advice and experience which has taken me years to gain, I willingly give it for free to anyone and if just one person takes note and gains from it then it's all good for me!

yes all advice and help on here is free but there are so many disrespectful people who don't even acknowledge replies. I find it strange.. I was bought up with manners, respecting and treating people as equals. The Thai people have reinforced this on my many visits.
