Hey guys I am taking classes at "house of taste thai cooking school" the process was easy for making the DTV requirements.
Contact the school.
Ask any questions you have.
Pay your fees.
Get a DTV package from house of taste thai cooking school.
Then get ready to apply for visa on the embassy of your choice but it has to be outside of Thailand.
Book your ticket to the destination country. I chose Vietnam Hanoi. However, many people have said that Laos is much easier.
Make sure you have all your documents digitally saved on your phone or laptop and have some printed out just in case you need a quick reference.
Now as far as the schoolhouse goes, the classes are really fun. Often you have class sizes between 6 and 14 people. There's a lot of Americans, Aussies, Brits, and of course there's people from other countries coming in often in groups or just in pairs. During my eight classes, I've met people from a wide variety of countries other than the English-speaking countries. Chinese Japanese Korean Africa Italian French, Spanish.. so each class is extremely different with different people and different personalities. Most the classes the students love to talk. Very outgoing people.
I've had classes with 4 different instructors. All of them are amazing. All the instructors are extremely positive people. They speak English well. They try to teach you Thai words while you're in class and they're informative about cooking techniques and the curriculum.
The schoolhouse is quite comfortable with air conditioning, a dining area for trying your food preparation, tables and outdoor cooking.
Highly recommend House of taste Thai cooking school for anyone that might be in Thailand for a day or anyone looking to do a DTV Visa like myself.
If you have any questions you can contact me or just contact the schoolhouse..
