Hello. I have received Non-O retirement Visa back in December, 2024 with 800K method.

Do I have to maintain 800K balance for next 3 months ( until march 2025)? or Can I use the money now??

TLDR : Answer Summary
After receiving a Non-O retirement visa through the 800K method, you must maintain the full 800K baht in your account until March 2025. This amount needs to stay in the account for a total of 3 months after your visa was granted. Following this period, you will only need to maintain a minimum balance of 400K baht in that account for the remainder of the year.

The seasoning requirement for banked money method on year long retirement extensions is;

You needed the 800K baht in the bank for 2 months before you applied for the extension.

The 800K baht has to stay IN the account for 3 months after the extension is granted

and

then you have to maintain a minimum balance of 400K baht in that account the rest of the year

So the funds stay at or above the 800K baht until March 2025
