Do I need to carry Thai currency to enter Thailand, or can I carry an equivalent in another currency?
Not a visa question but an entry question: For the amount you're supposed to be carrying now to enter (20,000 THB), does it have to be in Thai currency? 💸

One of the requirements to enter Thailand as a tourist is proof of 20,000 baht, or equivalent in another major currency. It does not have to be in Thai Baht.
