Legal question for german people: can I Rent an Office here for workation and use it as Proof for german Tax Office, that I have a „Branch“ here? (For all other: Germany want to See to Perpetual Traveler, that you have a kind of Office Abroad or you have to pay tax in german even for your Thai income).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question seeks to clarify whether renting an office in Thailand can serve as proof to the German tax office for having a branch abroad, in light of German tax obligations for perpetual travelers. Responses indicate skepticism about this being accepted as valid evidence by the Finanzamt, highlighting that income earned in Thailand requires proper registration and a work visa. Additionally, suggestions include the need for a rental contract for a regular apartment or other forms of proof.

Not a chance it would be accepted by the Finanzamt.

No idea about German law. Maybe stamps from your passport, certificate of residency or rental contract (of a normal apartment) would be enough?

You are not allowed to have thai income as long you are not registered in Thailand and have a Visa that allows you to work. DTV is only for people, that have a recidence elsewhere and do not stay longer than 180 days a year at Thailand. You cannot officially claim for a branch.

There is no limit to 180 days per year for DTV. It's 180 days per entry but you can leave and come back the same day. Also, you can extend in country for another 180 days.

that's not true. I stay here the whole 2025, more than 180 days. We were also already discussing the term "residency".
