Hey! Quick question regarding airport pickups on arrival into Bangkok.

If booking an AQ package then I undertand that the hotel includes an airport pickup and Covid test ag the hotel. 

However if I was to book my own SHA+ hotel and arrange my own Covid test outside of the hotel.. can I just get a standard taxi at the airport?

Insist on no shared transportation to your hotel, some other passenger tests positive and you are hooped.

You can not book it your self. You have too book a aq or sha hotel for 1 night. I wonder dont you read the guidlines. Its the rules for entering Thailand not what you like to do

I get into phuket 10,20am then have to travel to kata to the hotel get the pcr result and then travel to phang nga seems to be alot of time in a taxi

testing isn't done at the airport in Bangkok

no. In theory if you arrived early in the morning and got the results back in the afternoon you wouldn’t have to sleep in the hotel at all, but you’d still be charged for the night.

As far as I know you have to reserve the entire SHA+ package through the hotel…the thaipass only looks for the booking number and certificate that you booked through a SHA+ hotel…good Luck

you will not get your Thailand pass unless you book the package. Which clearly states airport transfer and covid test at either hotel or hospital also a lateral flow test to be used day

then yes the “test and go” package includes transfer to the hotel and the PCR test.

But.. if I didn’t book a package and wanted to book SHA+ hotel, Covid test and Airport taxi separately.. then how can I book the taxi myself?
